It has been two weeks I'm working at the new place.
So far so good i must say and it's really nice to see some familiar faces around.
You know who you are. *wink wink*.
Despite the aching legs of wearing high heels (which is good - help me to sleep soundly at night =P ) and the 1-hr journey to and fro workplace, the training has gone well, i think, and i'm really looking forward to do the actual task. =)
For the 1st time in 3yrs, i actually feel happy to go to work in the morning...
Besides that, i must hit the gym as soon as i can - been panting everytime i have to rush for the bus. tut tut. not good... not good at all.
And i wanna get a good pair of roller-blade too... have not been doing that for along time too. hmm... so, any good brand to recommend, anyone?
Anyway, i went for a mini gathering last night at simei. Got to meet some of the peeps from class 3E2/4E2 of year 2000/2001 like winnie, raymond, kelvin, hafiz, alfred, jing xiang, kai fa, jian xian, cheng yi and zi jia, who i haven't met for 3-5 years, except winnie, of course.
We had dinner, talked, laughed, recounted all the great and silly memories back in prss. it's really...nice and delightful. =)
But it shocked me when i learnt about derrick's unexpected condition and the reason why we couldn't contact him for over a year.
it's kinda saddened me, actually.
we're going to pay him a visit next week, which is also my medical appointment day in the morning. haiz...
we ended the day, or rather night, at alfred's place; cut the cake as it's cheng yi's birthday.
I'm glad i made the effort to do this despite my sore feet because of that stupid shoe (trash it, i shall! ) and I'm looking forward to meet them again next week.
Movie Review: Pan's Labyrinth [5/5 stars]to be honest with you, this is one de best fantasy movies i've ever watched in my life besides de lord of de rings trilogy. i have always been a fan of guillerma del toro, who is de director for hellboy and blade as well; his movies are usually enriched with spanish culture, which i found fascinating. this movie is worth every penny to watch it. two thumbs up!

* Shakinah n me*
It was my last day at SLA on Friday. I have to admit that I will miss the people that make me feel welcomed whilst working there: shakinah, mak su, kak ina, cik atan, obek sanusi, shiva, cik ani & cik ju...
I'm having a week vacation right now and i'm already bored on the 2nd day. haiz...
Have been brushing up my Eng and Malay, washing clothes to wear for work ( and i'm seriously need a new. bigger cupboard! yikes! ), putting aside shoes to use...
Can't wait for Monday. Woohoo! ;o)
*Cik ani n me (in de beautiful toilet. haha. right!)*
*Me n Obek ( never fail to put me in laughing fit! =P )*
*Me n Cik Ju ( always make me smile... )*
*(clockwise) Mak Su, Rizwah n Kak Ina*
Movie Review: ERAGON [4/5 stars]
i read de book b4 catching de movie and the verdict: a lil bit disappointed. ;o(
a lot of impt characters were not introduced BUT the casts delivered their characters well, esp ed speleers, who made his debut in acting, and john malkovich, the way he talked brought chill down to my spine.
no doubt, great sfx! i just hope they write a much better storyline for the next one, Eldest, IF they're ever going to make de 2nd one into film...

Happy New Year, folks!
It's amazing how fast time flies...
It's an all right 2006 for me. Can't expect all great things to happen, right? Every good stuff recovered every shit that happened to me. I'm grateful that I'm still here and this also means that i'd survived all the odds for the past couple of years. More obstacles are coming towards me, definitely. But I will overcome them as long as i keep my sanity on check... and i will prevail!
To start the ball's rolling, my 2007 will start with a new adventure: I GOT THE JOB!
Yes, the efforts and patience have finally paid off. I'll start the language analyst job in mid Jan.
And I'm excited, y'all. =oD
As for Maya (my sis), she didn't get the cabin crew job but she would be starting a better job at the airport towards end of Jan. I guess we both would have a much better year this year, hopefully.
Aight. Besides working harder and exercise more, I absolutely to need to do some soul searching this year. Weird moments had occurred to me several times this year, which always ended up feeling blue and, subsequently, confused. I was so engrossed about what's going on around me until i forgot about myself.
So, peeps, pardon me if you feel like i'm alienated myself from you. It's never been my intention to offend anyone's feelings.
All right. Enough worrying of my agendas. I hope you guys have a marvellous 2007 and my best wishes for everything you do.
Cheers!
